Asking a passenger to cancel the job to avoid being charged a cancellation fee

Please, please don’t do this.  It makes you sound super dodgy.  Our passengers will usually call us to complain.  You’ll get caught, and it’s just not worth it.

You’ll be penalised $100 on the spot, and put on probation.

Repeated offences will result in your termination as an ingogo driver.

You are only allowed to ask the passenger/hotel to cancel a job once you’ve spoken to them and had them confirm that the passenger will not be at the pickup location.

See I’ve spoken to the passenger/hotel and confirmed they don’t want the job anymore.  Do I still need to go there and wait 5 mins?

If you’ve got a genuine problem, call us and we’ll do our best to help out where we can.
