Why do you charge a cancellation fee on bookings?

We try hard to be fair when it comes to cancellation fees.  Being fair means acknowledging that the passenger has been inconvenienced, no matter what your circumstances are.

If the cancelled booking is still active, the $10 you are charged is added to the total fare amount as an incentive for the next driver to accept the booking.

If the booking is not active or we are unable to find another driver for the passenger the $10 is credited to the passenger to reimburse them for any inconvenience caused.

Remember the cancellations fees are there to remind both drivers and passengers of the importance meeting the agreed booking requirements.
