Why have I been charged $10 when my fixed fare is less than that?

Anytime you place a booking we will take a pre-authorisation of the fixed fare amount.

If the total amount you owe is less than $10 we will pre-authorise $10 to cover a cancellation fee if it is necessary. 

If you complete the trip and no cancellation fee is required, we will release the difference between the fee and what you were originally quoted.

The same happens if you are paying with credit on your account when the booking is completed, any amount over the fixed fare you were quoted is released back to your account.
